The name changed to PT KHI Pipe Industries in 1994 after the taking over of Hoogovens En Staalfabrieken NV (Netherlands) and International Pipe Industries Corporation‘s (Philippines) shares by PT. Indhasana – since then the company is now owned by only two share holders which are PT Krakatau Steel (persero) the largest state owned steel company in South East Asia as the only remaining founder as well as majority share holder and PT Indhasana a national private company as a minority share holder.
